Please Join Us on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, for the Flint Women's Forum Monthly Membership Meeting.

Doors open at 11:30 am for NETWORKING

The event begins at 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

This month's Meeting will feature Guest Speaker Lucine Jarrah Executive Director of the Arab American Heritage Council.

Lucine Jarrah, a Lebanese American from the Flint area, has served as Executive Director of the Arab American Heritage Council since January 2022. Over the past several years, she has advanced through multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Communications Coordinator and Fellow, bringing with her extensive experience in community engagement, strategic leadership, team development, and advocacy.

Lucine earned both her Master of Social Work and Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan. During her time as a student, she founded and served as the first president of “Cinemas Finest,” a student organization focused on youth empowerment through the arts, which received the 2019 Outstanding Student Organization Award. She also proudly served as Vice President of Student Government.

Community Partner: Beauty for Ashes

We have an opportunity to make a difference for the women served by Beauty for Ashes through their purse ministry, which supports women experiencing trafficking and street-level vulnerability throughout our community. We are inviting all Flint Women’s Forum members and their friends and family, to help by donating gently used purses along with travel-size hygiene items to fill them with.

Our goal is to begin collecting donations during our May and June lunch meetings, both before and after the events, with Bentley Florist generously serving as an additional drop-off location. We plan to conclude the drive with a final collection and delivery in July.

Please note a few important donation guidelines: no alcohol-based mouthwash and no designer handbags for safety reasons.

Thank you for helping us support, encourage, and uplift women in need through this meaningful outreach effort.

Lunch this month will be a BBQ Cookout! Get us in the theme for summer!

For this meeting, PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Registrations MUST be received by 5 pm on Friday, May 15th. So talk with your friends, invite them to join you, let's continue to GROW this amazing Group!
